Pre-Listing Inspection
This inspection service facilitates a smoother real estate transaction for clients who are attempting to sell a home. We’ll carefully inspect the readily accessible areas of the property to identify potential repair and maintenance needs. Whether you decide to address maintenance issues yourself before you make your listing, or you share the information with prospective buyers, you’ll stand a better chance of reaching a successful outcome to negotiations by keeping the process honest.
Commercial Property Inspection
We offer comprehensive inspections of commercial buildings that will identify potential defects, giving prospective investors a better idea of what to expect in terms of repair and maintenance requirements. We’re able to inspect: small strip malls, apartment buildings up to 30 units, mixed-use facilities, restaurants, and office buildings ranging from 20,000-35,000 sq. ft. that are no taller than 7 stories.
New Construction Inspection
When a new home is built, it’s a good idea for the buyer to schedule this inspection before the builder’s final walkthrough of the property. We’ll thoroughly investigate the condition of the property, informing you of any defects so that you can communicate the information with the builder before the construction phase is officially completed.
Radon Testing
After tobacco use, radon exposure is the primary cause of lung cancer. Radon gas forms naturally beneath the Earth’s surface, and over time, the gas is released into the atmosphere. During this transition, radon can sometimes penetrate the structure of homes—where it becomes an invisible and odorless threat to the health of residents. We recommend that all prospective homebuyers schedule a radon test before agreeing to terms.
Wood Boring Insect Reporting
This inspection service will evaluate a home for damage caused by wood-boring insects such as termites, powder post beetles, carpenter ants, and carpenter bees. These insects are more than just a nuisance—they cause significant structural damage that can cost new homeowners thousands.
Water Quality Testing
For this inspection service, we’ll test a home’s water quality by collecting samples from the well that will be sent off for analysis at a local laboratory. The analysis will test for a wide number of potential contaminants, including heavy metals and radon.
